CREDENTIALS
Before going to law school, Gary Clexton was a social worker and a public health educator for seven years. Since becoming an attorney in 1988, Gary has represented both individuals and companies in general commercial and civil lawsuits, including employment discrimination disputes, legal malpractice, bad faith insurance claims, contract disputes, civil rights and products liability. Before joining Miller & Steiert in 2002, Gary was a Shareholder at the Pendleton, Friedberg, Wilson & Hennessey law firm and a founding Partner at the King Clexton & Feola firm. Gary completed an extensive training program for mediators and has served as a mediator for Jefferson County Mediation Services.

PHILOSOPHY
Gary is committed to being a strong advocate for his clients. He believes it is in his clients' best interests to use his experience, knowledge and skill to resolve conflict and minimize adversity. He has wide experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution services. Gary has been lead counsel in many diverse cases, taken hundreds of depositions, settled or mediated many cases, and successfully tried the others that did not settle.
