The District Attorney's Office filed a mind-boggling 886 accusations of criminal conduct against him. But Grady knew he had the law and the facts on his side, and he turned to the experienced criminal defense team of Mike Miller and Andy Contiguglia to defend him. Miller and Contiguglia gathered evidence to prove that Grady's photographs were no more pornographic or provocative -- and, in many cases, much less so -- than those found in magazines on grocery store shelves. They presented evidence that the underage girls he photographed posed with a parent's permission. Prosecutors dropped all but 39 charges, and a jury acquitted him of all remaining charges.
